One of our biggest news items is that we are continuing construction on our new offices. Located just north of Wasilla we will be basing all of our operations from that location. Though it will take a while for us to complete, we hope to have everything enclosed and heated by this coming winter.
Some Industry Highlights:
- - Solid State 'hard drives' are fast becoming a reality. Even though they have been around for a while, improvements in memory and competition have driven the market into increased development. Smaller sizes, less dissipated heat, and far lower power consumption than the early generations of these devices has continued to increase interest. The biggest offering they carry with them is improved battery life on notebook computers. Though the write speeds are still nothing to write home about, access and data transfer speeds are stellar! Within a short time we expect to see the write issues taken care of and prices will start to drop. We will keep you posted on these developments.
- - New on computer horizons are the latest generation of ZEON Processors from Intel. Higher speeds, Quad Core processors, and multi-processor motherboards being built to utilize the new-found power and speed, and the new servers, engineering workstations, (and yes!) gaming systems will see the highest performance ever.
